Game Day Ball-Park Pretzels

The Super Bowl is right around the corner and I’m always looking for fun snacks and appetizers to make. Let’s be honest, I enjoy the food way more than the actual game.  A couple of years ago, my husband Adam thought it would be fun to make Ball-Park Pretzels to bring to a Super Bowl party. They were such a hit that we now make them every year! He has found that Alton Brown’s pretzel recipe is the best. It takes some effort, but the end product is amazing.  AMAZING!

They’re great right out of the oven, reheated, or dipped in cheese. They also freeze really well. All in all a perfect game day snack!

I can attest to the deliciousness of this recipe — I had one of Adam’s pretzels last weekend and it was FABULOUS!

Molly, I made your pretzels tonight, they were fantastic! I served them with stone ground mustard and marinara sauce… though I’m guessing they are even better with nacho cheese! It was way easier than I thought, thanks for the inspiration!

So I didn’t make the pretzels like I said I would. I really thought I would. After reading the great testaments from those that did, I am going to try to get these on the menu for the next event!
